Nike Air Max 1 Big Proof – Red / Blue – White
In 2006, under conglomeration of Nike Air Max and Eminem, a line of sneakers under the Air Max design were created to benefit a foundation created under the rapper’s real name. This particular pair, the Nike Air Max 1 Big Proof – Red / Blue - White shoe, was a large success. In college grey, this particular shoe features a black embossed image of Big Proof, famed and notorious rapper and rap producer. Almost solidly solid college grey with genuine and patent leather, this shoe offers numerous contours and textures throughout. The bottom portion of the shoe is comprised of a white leather material with a visible air pocket toward the back. The bottom of the sole features a waffled out-sole, as customary of Nike Air Max’s revolutionary response and comfort. Just above the sole is a white patent leather seam that rests atop of the sole throughout the entire portion of the Nike Air Max 1 Big Proof – Red / Blue – White shoe, separated from the remainder of the shoe by white stitching. A solid grey genuine leather toe inlay and side panels provide a deep and rich contrast to the patent leather portions, adding depth and contour. A white leather swoosh rests on either side of the shoe bordered by white stitching. The tongue features a net-line pattern, providing durable and flexibility during wear. On the back of the Nike Air Max 1 Big Proof – Red / Blue – White shoe, bordered in the same collegiate grey patent leather, is the black embossed image of Big Proof, added to the significance and rarity of this sneaker.
