Nike Air Max Light – Original Air Max 87 Color Way

The Nike Air Max Light – Original Air Max 87 Color Way shoe features the red and grey color scheme. The upper body is made from different tones of grey leather and suede. The darkest tone made from suede is located on the side panel where the big white Nike logo is located and extends below the red cushioned heel collar. The lighter shade of grey suede is located on the toe box which is made from leather and half of the side panel. The shoe is then accented with the red leather along its lateral outrigger. However, it acts more to provide aesthetics rather than functionality. To complete the look, the insole is made from white mesh and is tied together with white shoe laces.

On the other hand, the midsole have the usual Air-Sole unit on the heel tab and is made from light patented Nike rubber. The thin midsole are connected to the gum outsole.

Over all, the design of the Nike Air Max Light – Original Air Max 87 Color Way shoe is simple yet Nike was able to make it work. It has exceptional design. Simply put, gone were the days when Nike would fit several colorways into one shoe that often results to a flop or mediocre design.
