Nike Hyperdunk – China Olympics Edition
The 2008 Beijing Olympics prompted this unique and highly desirable Nike Hyperdunk. Inspired by the Chinese Yi, these Nike Hyperdunk – China Olympics Edition are rumored to be worn by the Chinese national Olympic team with extremely limited quantities produced. As the Nike Hyperdunks are known for the revolutionary support and custom air cushion technology, this particular shoe is designed for the all around athlete in mind. Primarily red, this shoe has an extremely large sole with a solid yellow leather feature running through the middle on side, providing depth and contrast to each portion of the sole. No visible air pocket provides consistency in color. The toe inlay offers a solid red leather coloring which extends to either side of the lace portion, adding durability and support to the shoe while in use. A unique pattern and design is on the side of the shoe. Leather with a cloth/plastic type material shoes black diagonal lines with a solid red backing, demonstrating dimension and solid use of contrasting colors. The back boasts a solid chunk of red plastic with white Nike logo and lettering indicating their significance to the Chinese Olympic team. The solid red fabric tongue is brought together with solid red laces. The Nike Hyperdunk – China Olympics Edition shoes’ top of the tongue features another red Nike and Olympics logo. The top ankle support section is comprised of thick leather with yellow loops, tying in the yellow portion of the sole.
